Prince Abayomi Adedayo Ladega, a chairmanship aspirant for Ikorodu Local Government seat, earlier today, 17th of March, spread love and kindness throughout the community by distributing 2000 Ramadan and Lent food packages to residents of Ikorodu.

He emphasized that the gesture was aimed at encouraging and supporting the people of Ikorodu during these significant religious periods. “It is good to let the people know we have their love in our hearts,” he said.

He noted that this was not a one-time event, but rather a continuation of his long-standing commitment to supporting the people of Ikorodu. He emphasized that he had been actively involved in community development initiatives, even before his chairmanship aspiration.

He stressed that as an APC member and a background person, he had consistently provided support during elections, reaching out to party agents and giving them gifts to encourage and support them.

If elected as Chairman, Prince Ladega promises to bring transformation and development to Ikorodu Local Government. His priorities would include providing good quality education, ensuring security, and improving healthcare, particularly for the older generation.

He noted that he would also offer bursaries to students, empower the community, and work aggressively to address the town’s security needs. He emphasized that his vision was to make Ikorodu a better place, a bigger city where everyone can thrive.

He stated that by working together, encouraging each other, and speaking with one voice, the Ikorodu can achieve greatness. He noted that he would release his manifesto soon, which would outline his detailed plans for the development and growth of Ikorodu Local Government.

Mrs. Shukrat Adebayo, one of the beneficiaries, expressed her gratitude to Prince Ladega, saying, “I’m so grateful to Prince Ladega for this kind gesture. The food package will go a long way in supporting my family during this holy period.”

Mrs. Fatima Adeolu, a mother of three, was particularly grateful for the food package. “Going out this morning, I was worried about what my children would eat to break their fast, but with this food package, we now have what to eat, Thank you Prince Ladega, for your kindness” she said.

For Mrs. Okoro, the food package was a welcome relief during the Lenten period. “I’m thankful to Prince Ladega for remembering us during this Lenten period. May Almighty God bless him” she said.

Chief Owolabi, a community leader, praised Prince Ladega’s commitment to the community, saying, “Prince Ladega’s kindness is a testament to his commitment to our community. We’re grateful for his support and pray for his success in his endeavors.”
