H.M.B Political Movement in conjunction with Womenfold Global Aid Foundation recently hosted its 3rd Annual Ramadan Public Lecture On Saturday, 8th of March, featuring thought-provoking lectures and Islamic artists. The Annual Lecture showcased renowned artists, including Alh. Abdul-Salam Azeez, popularly known as Saoty Arewa, and others.

Sheikh Musa Murtadhoh delivered a compelling lecture on the topic “Ramadan and Economy Sustainability in Nigeria.” He emphasized the importance of economic sustainability during Ramadan, highlighting the need for individuals to adopt prudent financial habits and support local businesses. By doing so, individuals can ensure a more stable economy and alleviate poverty in Nigeria.

Sheikh Murtadhoh further stressed that Ramadan presents a unique opportunity for individuals to reassess their priorities and make positive changes, ultimately fostering a more harmonious and prosperous relationship among individuals and within the community.

In her remarks, Convener and Chief Host, Hajia Muftiat Bajulaye, added that Ramadan and economic sustainability are intricately linked, as the holy month teaches individuals the value of selflessness, moderation, and responsible resource management. “As we fast and seek spiritual growth, we must also recognize the importance of contributing to the economic well-being of our communities,” she emphasized.

Hajia Bajulaye expressed her gratitude to the guest lecturers for doing justice to the topic. She also thanked guests who traveled from far and wide to attend the event, as well as those who have supported the movement since its inception. She concluded concluded by saying, “By the grace of Almighty Allah, we will continue to host more editions of this lecture in good health, financial stability, and long life.”

Dr. Joseph Olorunfemi Eyidero, Patron of Womenfold Global Aid Foundation stressed that the key to minimizing others’ pain is through giving and showing compassion. “Feel what I am feeling,” he urged. “When you feel what I’m feeling, then automatically, then anytime you see me, you will now do your best to assist.”

In addition, Dr. Eyidero advocated for women’s rights, emphasizing that women are a gift from God and should be encouraged to utilize their talents and skills. “Among them, we have doctors, we have lawyers,” he noted. “We should encourage them to go out there and make use of the gift that God has given to them.”

Oba Sulaiman Owolabi, Olu of Iwaya-Yaba Kingdom, political leaders, political associates, religious leaders, youth leaders, friends, among others graced the Annual Ramadan Public Lecture.
