The Chairman of the Lagos State House of Assembly Committee on Judiciary, Public Petitions, Human Rights and LASIEC, Hon. Oladipupo Ajomale, has expressed satisfaction with the readiness of Ikorodu North Local Council Development Area (LCDA) for the forthcoming elections.

Ajomale led an oversight visit to the council, today 6th of March to assess its preparedness for the elections, expected to hold in June or July. He held discussions with the electoral officers, Executive, and legislative arms of the council.

Ajomale expressed confidence in Ikorodu North LCDA, citing its history of peaceful elections, he also stated that the council chairman and Electoral Officer has assured him of the council’s readiness and commitment to ensuring the safety of lives and property during the election period.

Dr. Deola Banjo, the Executive Chairman of Ikorodu North LCDA, reassured the Committee of the LCDA’s preparedness, emphasizing the collaborative efforts between the executive and legislative arms to ensure a successful election.
