
Hon. Ogunleye Gbolahan Adetokunbo, Member Lagos State House of Assembly, Ikorodu constituency 1, also the Chairman House Committee on Social Development Goals (SDGs), Felicitates with Muslims of Ikorodu Constituency 1 on the commencement of Ramadan.
In a statement, Hon. Ogunleye prayed that Almighty Allah accepts the fasting of Muslims as an act of ibadah, and wished them a blessed and spiritually rewarding Ramadan.
He also highlighted key Ramadan lessons, emphasizing the importance of self-reflection, empathy, perseverance, gratitude, and humility.
“Ramadan is a period of self-reflection, a time to examine our actions, thoughts, and intentions,” Hon. Ogunleye said. “It is also a time to develop empathy for those in need, to persevere through challenges, and to cultivate gratitude and humility.”
By emphasizing these lessons, Hon. Ogunleye encouraged Muslims to make the most of the Ramadan period, using it as an opportunity for personal growth, spiritual renewal, and community building.
