Elepe Kingdom witnessed a grand Coronation celebration of Oba Abdulganiu Adekoyejo Omotayo, the Fidimolu of Elepe Kingdom. The historic event, attended by esteemed Royal fathers, political leaders, captains of industry, ruling houses, family, friends, and well-wishers, marked the beginning of a new era for the kingdom.

In his address, Hon. Omotayo Odusanya, popularly known as Tysleek, reflected on the king’s emergence, highlighting the peace, unity, and unprecedented development that Oba Omotayo’s reign has brought to Elepe town. “The king’s ascension to the throne has ushered in a new era of growth and prosperity,” Tysleek noted.

Oba Abdulsemiudeen Orimadegun Kasali, the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, expressed his gratitude to the revered kings in attendance, acknowledging their presence as a symbol of solidarity and a testament to the strength of Yoruba royalty. During the Royal Pronouncement, Oba Kasali declared, “It shall be the beginning of a new era in the kingdom.”

The event was a showcase of rich cultural heritage, with the Fuji Maestro, Alhaji Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, entertaining the guests with his melodious music.

Oba Abdulganiu Adekoyejo Omotayo’s coronation marks a significant milestone in the history of Elepe Kingdom, as he takes the stool after serving as the Baale of the kingdom for over 40 years.
