Hon. Ogunleye Gbolahan Adetokunbo, member of the Lagos State House of Assembly representing Ikorodu Constituency 1, felicitated with HRM Oba Engr. Bashiru Aremu Sotonwa, the Sekumade of Ipakodo Kingdom, on his birthday celebration.

Ogunleye described Oba Sotonwa as an “astute retired civil servant” whose contributions to the state have been invaluable. He noted that since the commencement of his reign as Kabiyesi, the kingdom has been progressing with great development, a testament to his wise and visionary leadership.

The lawmaker wished Oba Sotonwa long life, prosperity, and many more years on the throne of his forefathers in good health, wisdom, and peace. He prayed that the monarch’s reign would continue to be marked by progress, unity, and happiness among his subjects. Ogunleye also asked for God’s guidance and protection upon Oba Sotonwa, his family, and the entire kingdom.
