
TOS Initiatives, through its TOS Educational School Uniform Empowerment Project, distributed free school uniforms and supplies to students in Lagos, bringing joy and support to young minds. On January 23rd, the project reached a significant milestone with an event held at Wahab Folawiyo School Complexes in Ikoyi, Lagos.
Mrs. Lolade Salvador, CEO of TOS Initiatives in her address, expressing pride in the students’ dedication and resilience, Salvador emphasized the importance of embracing lifelong learning. “It’s okay to make mistakes, ask questions, and seek help when needed. That’s where the real growth happens,” she said.
The Uniform Empowerment initiative, according to Salvador, is a symbol of belief in the students’ potential. “We want you to feel confident, proud, and empowered to take on any challenge that comes your way,” she stated.
Salvador also encouraged the students to treat others with kindness, respect, and compassion, regardless of their background or situation. “Your worth and value go far beyond your circumstances,” she reminded them.
As the students embark on their academic journey, Salvador urged them to stay focused, surround themselves with positive influences, and celebrate their achievements. “You are the future leaders, innovators, and change-makers. Your unique perspectives, talents, and experiences will shape the world we live in,” she said.
Mr. Okusanya Adewale Rilwan, representing the Tutor General/Permanent Secretary of Education District III, emphasized the importance of good behavior and academic excellence.
Mr. Rilwan encouraged the students to focus on their studies, urging them to strive for academic success. He also commended TOS Initiatives for their support, particularly in providing a School Uniform Empowerment Project.
The Principal of Wahab Folawiyo Comprehensive Senior High School, Ikoyi, Abdul-aziz Oyetunde, expressed heartfelt gratitude on behalf of the school for the generous donation of school materials.
According to Principal Oyetunde, the contribution has not only enriched the learning experience but also inspired students to pursue their education with greater enthusiasm.
The Principal commended the donor for their outstanding generosity and commitment to education. He also expressed his desire to continue collaborating with the donor in the future to support the young minds at the school.
An impressive lineup of special guests attended education empowerment, the guest list included Hon. Alhaji Rilwan Jinadu, former APC Chairman in Ikorodu, Mr. Owolabi Salvador, an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) at Miami Hospital, Mrs. Salvador, an Associate Professor at the Nursing School for City of Miami Dade, Florida.
Others are Mrs. Abiola Wahab from Folawiyo Junior High School, Mrs. Olaoye from Government Junior College Maroko, and Omotayo, Vice Principal of Ilado Community Junior High School, Mr. Seyi Martins, an international Event MC from the Brazilian Descendants Community, and Mr. Salvador Obasanjo, representing the Parents Forum, were in attendance, along with other parents.
