Councillor Phillips Olubunmi Emmanuel, representing Ward F1 in Surulere Local Government, congratulated Dr. Kayode Opeifa on his appointment as the Managing Director of the Nigeria Railway Corporation by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The Councillor described Dr. Opeifa’s appointment as a perfect fit, saying he is a round peg in a round hole. “Dr. Opeifa is an excellent choice for this role, considering his wealth of experience and impressive track record in the transportation sector,” he said.

“His past experience as the Commissioner of Transportation in Lagos State and Executive Secretary on Transportation to the FCT has equipped him with the necessary skills and expertise to excel in this new position,” Councillor Emmanuel noted. “I have no doubt that he will bring significant improvements to the Nigeria Railway Corporation, given his achievements in Lagos and Abuja.”
