
Dr. Kayode Opeifa, Ph.D., congratulated Rt. Hon. Princess Mojisola Lasbat Meranda on her historic emergence as the first female Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly.

Opeifa prayed for Meranda to be guided by divine wisdom and compassion, seeking God’s blessings for humility, discernment, and courage to make decisions rooted in justice, equity, and fairness for all. “As you take on this exalted position, I pray that the Almighty God grants you divine wisdom, clarity, and all that is required to excel in your new role. He acknowledged the significance of Meranda’s emergence at a time when Lagos State is at the forefront of Nigeria’s economic and political transformation. “Your emergence is particularly significant at a time when our great leader is undertaking the historic task of reshaping Nigeria’s economic and political landscape. Lagos State, as the centerpiece of the Renewed Hope agenda, requires visionary leadership, and I have no doubt in your capacity and dedication to meet and exceed these expectations.”
Opeifa expressed confidence in Meranda’s ability to deliver great success and unprecedented achievements in the Lagos State House of Assembly. “As a respected princess of Lagos, your love and commitment to the state and its people are unparalleled. I am confident that your tenure will bring great success and unprecedented achievements to the Lagos State House of Assembly.”
