As commendations keep flowing in for the dynamic and hardworking Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, Eko Destination Limited yesterday bestowed an award of “The Best in Environmental Initiative” to the Council Boss.

Led by the Project Director and Chief Executive Officer, Hon. Apata Samson Nunayon and Dr. Abiodun Lasisi, the Eko Destination team hailed Hon. Olowa for his high drive in ensuring a cleaner and sane Council Area. Hon. Nunayon also maintained that the Garbage Collection Tricycle nicknamed Keke Jaja has indeed being “wonders on wheels” as waste collection in Lagos is taken to another level.

While encouraging Hon. Olowa to maintain the drive on a high pedestal, Hon. Samson used the moment to call on other stakeholders to come up with ideas that will market Lagos to the world as a destination for tourism.

In his response, the Executive Chairman, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa appreciated the team for the award as he assured that he will not relent in his drive to do more for Ibeju-Lekki Local Government as the reward for hard-work is more hard-work.

Eko Destination Limited is an organization aimed at promoting the values and culture of Lagos while projecting it globally.

Also present during the award presentation were the Council Manager, Mr. Oladipupo Abiodun Otinwa, Mr. Gbenga O, Head of Department of Chieftaincy and Inter boundary Affairs as well as Ms. Maureen and Sophia of the Media unit of Eko Destination Limited.
