The Lagos Central Youth Healthy Lifestyle Fiesta 2024, tagged Lagos Central Youth #KeepFit, was held on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at the Lagos State Youth Parliament. The event, themed “Digital Wellness for a Healthier Future,” aimed to promote fitness and wellness among young people.

The program covered key areas such as physical fitness, mental well-being, blood donation, health insurance awareness, and overall wellness. It drew the attention and participation of youth leaders across Lagos State, including members of the Lagos State Youth Parliament and the Chairman of NYCN Lagos State Chapter, Engr. Olalekan Adigun.

Distinguished personalities in attendance included Hon. Mobolaji Ogunlende, Commissioner for Youth and Social Development, and Comr. Biliamin Oba, Senior Special Assistant on Sports.

The initiative enjoyed widespread corporate collaboration, with partners such as IFitness Gym and Wellness Center, Rhodes Yoga, Medplus Pharmacy, and HealthTracka facilitating various sessions and activities.

Other notable supporters included AXA Mansard, MyAdvantage Africa, and the Lagos State Health Management Agency (ILERA EKO), which enrolled young participants in health insurance plans to promote universal health coverage.

The event also featured a raffle draw, with participants winning prizes such as shopping vouchers, Dettol products, Boomplay merchandise, and free insurance.

The Lagos Central Youth Healthy Lifestyle Fiesta 2024 was a huge success, with positive feedback from participants and partners. As the representative of Lagos Central Senatorial District at the Nigerian Youth Parliament transitions out of his role, he assures young people of his continued commitment to promoting youth development and inclusion across Nigeria.
