In a session that could be described as an unprecedented remarkable moment,the most distinguished and distinct Chairmanship aspirant in Mainland Local Government,AYODEJI Rilwan TINUBU, popularly and affectionately known as ART 25, was honoured by Yaba LCDA Legislative with an award tagged ‘Exceptional and visionary leader Award’.

The award presentation  was held at the Council Chamber,on Tuesday the 26th of November,2024, during a plenary session held by the legislative Council.

While presenting the award to the deserving personae, Ayodeji Rilwan Tinubu,the Legislative leader,Hon.Olujobi Tajudeen   appraised Tinubu as a young, vibrant, dynamic and hopeful leader, capable of stimulating and driving the most desirable positive changes in Lagos Mainland LG.


The legislative members, having returned from a transformative leadership seminar in Oxford, London and Kenya, unanimously acknowledged Tinubu ‘s vital and pivotal role in their hospitality and development.


Hon.Shola Thomas highlighted how Tinubu ‘s facilitated the legislative arm’s visit to Suffolk County Council and Ipswich Borough Council broadened his perspective, equipped him with new skills and engendered him to serve his constituents in Iwaya with reformed capacity, capability and innovative skills.


The majority leader of the house,Hon.Babajide Adetona expressed sincere gratitude for Tinubu ‘s hospitality and support which beyond doubts, enhanced their learning experience.


While acknowledging and accepting the award,in his remark, Ayodeji Rilwan Tinubu expressed his commitment to the Yaba LCDA legislative arm.He also pledged his unwavering support for their initiatives and readiness to collaborate with them,reflecting on his longstanding affiliation and friendship with the legislative arm,dated back to the 4th Assembly of the Council.


The recognition of the most distinguished and distinct Chairmanship aspirant,ART 25 contributions and the legislative arm’s dedication to continuous improvement informs the potential of;the power of visionary leadership and sound collaborative efforts in driving a super-hyper development spree, in Yaba LCDA and by imperative extension, Lagos Mainland Local Government.
