
Peakmed Innovations has partnered with the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Lekki LCDA Branch, to host the Lekki Youth Summit 2024. The event featured a free medical outreach program, providing comprehensive health screenings to youths and other aged individuals in Lekki LCDA.
The medical outreach program included various tests, such as:
– Body Mass Index (BMI) checks
– Blood pressure checks
– Blood sugar tests
– Hepatitis tests
– Tuberculosis (TB) tests
Participants also received free consultations, counselling, and medication dispensations.
Dr. Abdulrazaq Olanrewaju MFR, Executive Director of Peakmed Innovations and Director of Health at the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) Lagos, emphasized the importance of regular health check-ups.
“Early detection and prevention are crucial in maintaining good health,” Dr. Olanrewaju stressed. “This medical outreach program aims to educate and empower our youths and community members to prioritize their well-being.”
He further highlighted the significance of community-based initiatives.
“We believe that healthcare should be accessible to all, regardless of socioeconomic status or geographical location,” Dr. Olanrewaju said. “By bringing these services directly to the community, we can bridge the gap in healthcare disparities.”
Dr. Olanrewaju also encouraged youths to take charge of their health. “Youths are the future leaders of our nation,” he emphasized. “By investing in their health and well-being, we are securing a brighter future for our country.” Likewise the aged.
