
Dignitaries gathered at Community Junior and Secondary School, Debojo for the commissioning of 1 block of six classrooms donated by the Member, House of Representatives representing Ibeju-Lekki Constituency 1 at the green chambers, Hon. Adebayo Balogun as the Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, who was a special guest, praised the MHR for this feat.
Speaking at the occasion, Hon. Olowa used the moment to enlighten the audience that education is the best legacy any parent can leave behind for their children. In his address to the students, the Council boss said “To whom much is given, much is expected as you have to make good use of this gift donated by our dear MHR”.
Speaking further, the Council Boss commended Hon. Bayo Balogun for this feat as the best legacy anyone can bequeath to the youngsters as the donation of the block of classroom is a major milestone that shows the quality representation he is giving to Ibeju-Lekki at the green chambers.
Hon. Adebayo Balogun while speaking appreciated the audience and thanked them for the support given to government at all levels. The MHR acknowledged that indeed, education is a great tool of empowerment as the block of classroom donated will make learning seamless and easy for students. While calling on the audience to keep supporting all elected officials, he gave the assurance of continued quality representation.
During the commissioning, exercise books were also distributed to various secondary schools which includes, Iwerekun Community Junior High School, Magbon-Alade Junior Secondary School, Lekki Junior High School, Onisolu Junior Secondary School, Ibeju-Agbe Community Secondary School, amongst others.
Present at the commissioning were the Special Adviser on Civic Engagement and Inter-Governmental Relations, Hon. Wakilat Odupe, Onidebojo of Debojo, Oba Talabi Adegbesan, Hon. Ayeola Olaomopo, Representative of the Tutor General Permanent Secretary, Mr. S.V Orokotan, Hon. Abiodun Balogun amongst other dignitaries.
