

The Conference 57, a body of Chief Press Secretaries in Lagos State led by Ayodele Ayeyemi the Chairman, is organizing the Amuwo 2024 Media Retreat. Scheduled for November 3, 2024, the event promises to be an engaging platform for media professionals and governance experts.
The retreat will be graced by notable personalities, including Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu; Senator Tokunbo Abiru; Kolade Alabi; Valentine Braimoh; Olufemi Okeowo; Moyosore Ogunlewe; and Ramotallahi Hassan.
The event features an impressive lineup of guest speakers, including Dr. Owolabi Temitope, a lecturer at the University of Lagos; Mr. Ola Bankole, a sales and marketing specialist; Oba Adeoye, a multiplatform journalist; Jide Johnson PhD; and Mr. Banji Busari.
The Amuwo 2024 Media Retreat will also honor outstanding individuals in governance and media. Senator Adetokunbo Mukhail Abiru, representing Lagos East Senatorial District, will receive the Lagos Federal Lawmaker of the Year 2024 award. Councillor Bashiru Saheed Omogbolahan, Majority Leader of Agboyi-Ketu Legislative Council, will be recognized as Council Legislator of the Year 2024. Mr. Sufwan Temitope Ogunbo, Supervisor of Education at Ibeju-Lekki LCDA, will receive the Council Supervisor of the Year 2024 award.
This year’s retreat focuses on “The Future of Media Trends, Challenges, and Opportunities for Media Aides.” The theme reflects the evolving media landscape and its implications for media professionals and governance.
The Amuwo 2024 Media Retreat is poised to facilitate meaningful discussions, knowledge sharing, and networking among media practitioners, Governance experts, and Stakeholders.
