On October 28, 2024, Otunba-Akogun Wale Raji Anomo, Executive Chairman of Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Area, received the Lagos State House of Assembly Committee on Local Government Administration, Chieftaincy and Rural Development, led by Hon. Sanni Ganiyu Babatunde Okanlawon.

The committee’s oversight visit aimed to assess fund utilization and project alignment. Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA presented a comprehensive report on past and ongoing projects, followed by site inspections.

Hon. Okanlawon praised the Chairman’s exemplary leadership, noting impressive achievements despite limited resources. “This is part of our statutory oversight duties,” he said. “We’re pleased with your accomplishments and commitment to democracy.”

Otunba-Akogun Anomo thanked the committee for their visit and valuable advice, reaffirming his dedication to delivering democracy dividends to the people.

Hon. Kehinde Joseph, Hon. Samuel Olufemi Apata, Hon. Olawale Age-Sulaimon Rauf, Hon. Ajayi Oluwadamilare, Hon. Surajudeen Tijani, Hon. Ogundipe S. Olukayode, and Hon. Nureni Akinsanya were among the committee members present.

Vice Chairman Wasiu Oluwole Dehinsilu, members of the Executive Council, Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA Legislative Council led by Leader Hon. Hassan Mustapha Owolabi, Council Manager Mr. Awobajo Sunday, and heads of various departments and units within the LCDA also attended.
