The Leader of Ikorodu West LCDA, Hon. Jessica Enitan Oba, who, also doubles as the councilor representing WARD A, of Ikorodu West LCDA, has delivered an Industrial borehole for use by the people. A move which scores her high on priorities to demands of her people through basic social amenities.

Speaking at the commissioning, Oba Aremu Basiru Sotonwa, Sekunmade of IPakodo praised the councillor for her strides in office, as he said, this commissioning of an Industrial borehole also signifies her progress path. As he appeal to residents of the community to work together with the government on other developmental progress as IPakodo community residents will be of greater beneficiaries.

Honorable Enitan Jessica Oba, Council Leader of Ikorodu West LCDA and Councillor representing Ward A in her speech highlighted the benefits of basic social amenities to residents of the communities in terms of easy access to clean and good water. Especially the vulnerable of the community.

She stated the rehabilitation of the long-abandoned Ipakodo water facility, which had fallen into disrepair, with encroachment issues due to its location amidst over 300 households lacking portable water.

She said upon the completion, management and maintenance will be handed over to the Araromi CDA Executives, with the community entrusted to protect and preserve it for long-term benefits.

As a native of Ipakodo, with ancestral ties dating back over 200 years, Councilor Oba emphasized her commitment to contributing to the area’s growth. She expressed gratitude to Oba Sekumade of Ipakodo, who will commission the project, as well as her political leaders, colleagues, and constituents for their unwavering support.

In attendance were the Executive Chairman, Hon. Olanrenwaju Kazeem Sulaimon, Hon. Segun Aluko Vice Chairman, Legislators, Supervisors, Management and other party leaders and faithfuls who took turns to admonish the people on being patient with the government to enable them benefit largely.
