
The National Youth Policy and Lagos State Youth Policy recognized the National Youth Council of Nigeria as the umbrella body of all youth organizations in Nigeria. In Lagos State, it maintains 57 local branches and 53 affiliate organizations.
As provided by its constitution, the senatorial district is empowered to supervise the activities of its local branches and affiliate organizations operating from the Senatorial District, the district is always headed by the Vice Chairman with an administrative assistant called the Organising Secretary. A new leadership was provided for the Senatorial District upon being sworn in on July 4th 2024 which saw the emergence of Comr Asoro Abubakri Olatunji ACArb as the Vice Chairman and Amb Olaide Lateef as the Organising Secretary.
As the administration clocks 100 days in office, it takes a review of its activities and that of the Voluntary organizations and local branches under its supervision which is the performance index in the last hundred days.

September 2 , 3 and 4th 2024 and second batch of 4 Day Free Vocational Skill Training On Tailoring, Make Up and Gele, Cake And Decorations etc at Isawo Konu between September 7 , 14, 21 and 28th 2024 among others.
Tailing Ikorodu West behind is Epe Local branch that has engaged in Petrol Jelly, Wall Socket etc Skill Acquisition Training to Commemorate World Skill Day on 14th July, 2024, held it management meeting in July and engaged in fitness exercise same day to promote wellness and healthy living. Its world press conference on 31st July, 2024 accounted largely for the relative peace witnessed in Epe during the end bad governance protest. The local branch has also been actively in the forefront of clamouring for stable power supply in Epe and its environ by bringing critical stakeholders together to actualize this. In this period under review, it also organised Fashion Design Training for 28 Youths at Omojele Street Epe in 16th August,2024 plus Indoor Games at Epe Recreational Centre on 18th August, 2024, Live Webinar to commemorate International Youth Day on 19th August, 2024 and other impactful activities.
Bariga tails Epe closely in it performance. On 24th July, 2024, the new leadership for Bariga Local branch were inaugurated and it immediately swung into action with an Advocacy Interactive Session Against Violent Protest,
Sanitation Exercise To Commemorate Int’l Youth Day on 16th Aug,2024 and Novelty Match to promote peace and unity among young people in Bariga on 17th Aug,2024, then Sensitization Program on Digital Skills on 18th Aug, 2024. It organized a Community Outreach at CMS Compound Bariga on
19th Aug, 2024 and a world clean up exercise in collaboration with other partners to clean up Ekinmogun Community in commemoration of World Clean Up Day, among others.
