Oba Kabiru Adewale Shotobi, the Ayangburen of Ikorodu Kingdom, commissioned the Federal Low-Cost Roads, a critical infrastructure upgrade comprising the A-M lane and off A-line. These newly improved roads seamlessly connect to the Abiodun Ogunleye road, providing direct access to Shagamu Road. This achievement underscores the effective leadership of Builder Deola Banjo, Executive Chairman of Ikorodu North LCDA, in driving progress and enhancing the community’s quality of life.

Oba Kabiru Shotobi, the Ayangburen of Ikorodu, commended Builder Deola Banjo, Executive Chairman of Ikorodu North LCDA, for his remarkable achievements in transforming the community. Banjo’s efforts have significantly improved the area’s infrastructure, particularly the long-abandoned road that has plagued residents since the 80s.

The Ayangburen praised Banjo’s dedication, stating that history will not forget his contributions to face-lifting the roads in the estate. Oba Shotobi also acknowledged the progress made by other Council Chairmen in Ikorodu Division, recognizing their collective efforts in advancing the community.
Furthermore, Oba Shotobi urged residents to continue supporting the APC-led Government, citing their evident commitment to the people’s well-being through numerous projects.

He emphasized the importance of maintaining the newly upgraded roads, ensuring the community’s growth and development.

Builder Deola Banjo, the Executive Chairman Ikorodu North LCDA acknowledged the community’s history, noting that initial hesitation to call it home due to isolation and poor roads has given way to growth. Today, Banjo celebrated the profound transformation, citing the opening of new roads, improved drainage systems, and streetlights.

He honored esteemed leaders who once called the estate home, including Oba Patrick Fafunwa Onikoyi of Ikoyi and Oba Abdulrashid Omotayo Shajirenren. Banjo emphasized his commitment to progress and connectivity, recognizing the community’s growth potential.

Builder Deola Banjo highlighted the unique division of Ward E3 Agbala into three districts, with the Low-cost-Kasholeri zone being a key focus area. This zone houses eight polling units, equivalent to Ward E4 Olorunda, demonstrating the community’s significance in local politics.

He expressed gratitude to Rep. Babajimi Benson, Mr. and Mrs. Oyebo, and Oba Kabiru Shotobi for their unwavering support. Banjo emphasized that this is just the beginning, with more projects in the pipeline to ensure every corner of the community benefits from collective efforts.

He quoted Plato, “The direction in which education starts a man will determine his future life,” emphasizing the importance of cultivating empathy, resilience, and progress to secure a brighter future for the community. Banjo requested continued prayer and support for himself, his team, and state and national leaders working to improve Nigerian lives.

Engr. Aka Ayodeji, Chairman of the Community Development Association (CDA), expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the council chairman for transforming the community’s infrastructure. “Today is a great day, one that we will not forget soon,” Ayodeji said, emphasizing the significance of the newly completed road project.
