
Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, inspected the proposed site for the Lagos State fire service and rescue station in Ibeju Agbe. This development follows a successful meeting between Oba Razaq Waliu Olasunkanmi Oguntolu and Hon. Olowa, demonstrating significant progress toward establishing the much-needed emergency facility.
The Lagos State Government has been actively repositioning its emergency response agencies, with plans to commission three new fire stations and 62 fire trucks. This move aims to enhance the capacity of the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service to respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies.
Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, the Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, has commended the effort to establish a fire service station in Ibeju-Lekki, calling it a “significant milestone” in enhancing emergency response capabilities in the area. He emphasized that the station will provide timely and effective services to residents, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Hon. Olowa urged residents to be cautious and take preventive measures to avoid fires, highlighting the importance of community cooperation in maintaining safety standards.
