
In a heartwarming display of compassion, the Adebisi Adelabu Foundation, in partnership with Kosofe Local Government, has provided financial assistance to 500 widows and vulnerable individuals in Kosofe communities.
The intervention, held at the Council Secretariat, aimed to alleviate financial burdens and cushion the hardship faced by these women. Mrs. Adebisi Adelabu, General Manager of Lagos State Parking Authority (LASPA), emphasized her commitment to uplifting widows and vulnerables, particularly during challenging times.
“This is not just about giving money; it’s about providing hope and a sense of belonging to women who have faced tough times,” Mrs. Adelabu said. “We want them to know they’re not alone.”
Barr. Moyosore Ogunlewe, Executive Chairman of Kosofe Local Government, expressed gratitude to Mrs. Adelabu for her generosity. He highlighted the importance of such initiatives in improving residents’ lives.
The beneficiaries thanked the foundation for the financial support, which will help meet their immediate needs and invest in small-scale businesses. Barr. Ogunlewe reiterated his commitment to supporting and empowering widows and vulnerables in the Local Government.
