
Akogun Wale Raji Anomo, the Executive Chairman of Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Area (LCDA), has been recognized for his exceptional leadership and contributions to the community. He received the Outstanding Local Government Chairman Award at the Nigeria-Ghana Leadership Summit in Abuja, and an Award of Appreciation from the Association of Oloris in Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA.
The Nigeria-Ghana Leadership Summit award was presented to Anomo at the Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA Secretariat in Agbowa, as he was unable to attend the summit in person. Comrade Damilare Fagbodun, convener of Lagos Focus, praised Anomo’s exemplary performance, consistent developmental efforts, and transformational leadership since taking office.
Additionally, the wives of traditional rulers in Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA, under the Association of Oloris, presented Anomo with an Award of Appreciation. Olori Fatimoh Mojisola Balogun, the Olori Elejinrin of Ejinrin, expressed gratitude for Anomo’s support and sponsorship of their participation in the 2024 Committee of Wives of Lagos State Officials (COWLSO) Summit. The Oloris praised Anomo’s commitment to infrastructure and human capital development in the LCDA.
Upon accepting both awards, Anomo thanked the organizers and dedicated the awards to the people of Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA. He reaffirmed his commitment to fostering human capital development, infrastructural growth, and economic development in the LCDA.
These awards are a testament to Anomo’s tireless efforts to improve the lives of Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA residents. His leadership has made a significant impact, and these recognitions demonstrate his dedication to the community’s well-being.
