The Lagos State House of Assembly Committee on Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs, and Rural Development has commended the Executive Chairman of Kosofe Local Government, Barrister Moyosore Adedoyin Ogunlewe, for his exemplary leadership and impressive achievements.

The committee, led by Hon. Sanni Ganiyu Babatunde Okanlawon, Member of Lagos House of Assembly representing Kosofe Constituency (1) and Chairman of the Committee, paid a courtesy visit to the Kosofe Council Secretariat. They were warmly received by Barrister Ogunlewe and other council officials.

During the visit, Hon. Okanlawon acknowledged the diligent administration of the Executive Chairman in utilizing federal allocation and internally generated revenue for the benefit of the community. He praised Ogunlewe’s commitment to the comfort and welfare of residents, citing numerous projects and programs initiated over the past three years.

Barrister Ogunlewe proudly presented the remarkable achievements of his administration, including:

– 40 completed verifiable infrastructure projects, with several others ongoing
– Provision of transformers to improve electricity supply
– Establishment of borehole facilities across the seven wards
– Free Transportation System for residents
– Accessible Healthcare services
– Impactful educational programs
– Food Bank for monthly palliatives
– Human Capacity Building for political office holders and staff, among others.

Hon. Okanlawon emphasized the committee’s oversight function, ensuring taxpayer money and resources are utilized for the benefit of the masses. The LAHA team encouraged further improvements in other areas, expressing appreciation for the Chairman’s dedication to representing the people of Kosofe.

Concluding the visit, the entourage inspected completed and ongoing projects within and outside the Council Secretariat, accompanied by political office holders and the management team. This firsthand assessment allowed the committee to witness the tangible impact of Ogunlewe’s administration.
