Hon. Oluwaseun Osiyemi, Commissioner for Transportation, launched the “Sean Pee & Kids Back to School Program” on September 5th to support pupils from Somolu-Bariga constituencies. This initiative brought together students from three schools in Somolu and three schools in Bariga, aiming to provide essential school supplies and boost their confidence for the new academic year.

The program’s primary objective was to give back to the community, easing the burden on parents while encouraging students to excel academically. The initiative provided necessary items such as school bags, water bottles, exercise books, and stationery.

In his remarks, Commissioner Osiyemi said, “Today, we invest in the future of our children and our community. Education is the key to unlocking their potential, and I am proud to support these young minds. I urge you all to make the most of this opportunity and strive for excellence in your studies.

Dignitaries and community leaders attended the event, demonstrating their support for the program and fostering a sense of belonging among the children. The program’s success reflects the Commissioner’s commitment to empowering young minds and investing in the future of Somolu-Bariga constituencies.
