
The Conference of Chief Press Secretaries Retreat Committee honored Mayor Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, Executive Chairman of Ibeju Lekki Local Government, and Hon. Ogungbo Temitope Sofwan, Supervisor for Education, for their innovative ideas and contributions to governance.
The committee, led by Chairman Ayodele Ayeyemi (MNIPR), inducted Mayor Olowa into its Hall of Fame during a visit to Ibeju Lekki Local Government. The award recognizes Mayor Olowa’s exemplary leadership and developmental strides in the council area.
Hon. Sofwan was also recognized for his complementary role in the administration, particularly in the education sector.
The committee commended Mayor Olowa for his progressive service delivery to the citizens and encouraged him to continue on this path. Mayor Olowa expressed his gratitude to the committee and acknowledged their role in projecting the image of the government through grassroots media.
The visit also included a project inspection tour of the council area, where committee members witnessed firsthand the developmental projects implemented by the administration.
