In commemoration of the 60th birthday of Mr. Tayo Akinmade Ayinde, Chief of Staff to the Governor of Lagos State, a delegation led by Barr. Olufunke Rekiyah Hassan, Vice Chairman, visited the Bab-es Salaam Orphanage on Sunday, August 25th. The delegation brought with them donations of standing fans and food items to support the orphanage.

Barr. Olufunke Rekiyah Hassan stating, “As we celebrate our boss’s remarkable milestone, we are reminded of the precious gifts that children are to our society. These innocent souls, full of hope and promise, deserve our love, care, and support. That’s why we’re here today, to show them that they’re not forgotten, and that we believe in their bright futures.”

She continued, “Orphanages like Bab es Salaam are beacons of hope, providing a safe haven for children who need it most. We commend the selfless caregivers and staff who dedicate their lives to nurturing these young minds. Our small contribution today is a token of our appreciation for your tireless efforts.”

Barr. Olufunke also took the opportunity to wish the Chief of Staff a happy birthday, saying, “To our beloved boss (Buffalo) Mr. Tayo Akinmade Ayinde, we wish you a joyous 60th birthday, May this milestone mark the beginning of a new chapter filled with good health, wisdom, and continued service to our great state. Your dedication and leadership inspire us all, and we’re honored to celebrate this special day with you.”

The delegation included notable figures such as Kayode Opayemi, Leader of the House, Onigbongbo LCDA; Bello Isiaka, Chief Whip; Muyiwa Adeyemi, SA Chieftaincy and Traditional Matters; and Mrs. Bola Balogun, Deputy Ward Chairman.
