
The Councillor representing Ward ‘D’ and Majority Leader of the Agboyi-Ketu Legislative Council, Hon. Bashiru Saheed Omogbolahan, widely known as Elewedu, has initiated the restoration of the dilapidated borehole at Apostolic Primary School in Kosofe.
Councillor Elewedu embarked on this fruitful endeavor during a brief visit at the request of the School’s Head Teacher, Mrs. Oyalabu Olufunke Adeola.
Following an inspection of the deteriorated borehole, the councillor stated that the repair project was part of his annual back-to-school initiative, emphasizing that it would involve procuring a submersible pump, risen pipes, and implementing a sophisticated plumbing system.
Furthermore, Councillor Elewedu underscored the critical necessity of clean water to safeguard the students’ well-being and health.
Reflecting on the past three academic sessions, he expressed satisfaction that his commendable contributions to the educational sector would pave the way for future undertakings in support of the next generation of leaders.
“In anticipation of the forthcoming academic term of 2024/2025, I have devised a comprehensive strategy to enhance the infrastructure at Apostolic Primary School in Kosofe. This plan encompasses the meticulous refurbishment of the water system, including procuring a new submersible pump and implementing an effective plumbing system to ensure optimal water distribution throughout the school premises.”
“I eagerly look forward to the successful completion of this initiative, which will establish a hygienic and secure educational environment, safeguarding the students at Apostolic Nursery and Primary School in Kosofe from illnesses, exploitation, and marginalization.”
