Ikorodu North LCDA, in partnership with Lagos State Health District 2, organized a comprehensive medical outreach program, “Alaafia Eko,” at the Farm Settlement, Community Primary School, Odogunyan, on August 20th.

The event offered a range of free health services, including blood sugar and pressure checks, HIV counseling and testing, eye examinations with free glasses, health insurance registration, LASRRA registration, and treatment of minor ailments with medication, also distributed OUNJE EKO’ to participants.

Dr. Dayo Lajide, Permanent Secretary of Health District 2, encouraged participants to take advantage of these opportunities provided by the Lagos State Government, highlighting Governor Sanwo-Olu’s initiative to support citizens. She also commended Ikorodu North LCDA for their collaboration.

Ikorodu North LCDA Executive Chairman, Builder Deola Banjo, represented by Hon. Adewusi Sulaimon, Supervisor for Information, expressed heartfelt appreciation to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for his kind gesture of healthcare support and food aid to residents.

The Chairman commended the Governor’s initiative, which has provided vital healthcare services and addressed “stomach infrastructure” through the distribution of “Ounje Eko” to the community.

This gesture demonstrates the Governor’s commitment to the wellbeing of Ikorodu North LCDA residents, ensuring access to essential healthcare and basic necessities.

The Chairman’s representative, Hon. Adewusi Sulaimon, praised the Governor’s efforts, saying, “We are grateful for the Governor’s kind gesture, which aligns with our commitment to improving the lives of our residents.”

Dignitaries in attendance included Dr. Wajero Kehinde (MoH, Ikorodu North LCDA), Mrs. Adewuyi (Apex Nurse, Ikd North), Pharmacist Ajani Gbemisola, Hon. Adewusi Sulaimon (Super for Information & Strategy, Ikd North LCDA), Hon. Salau Abiodun (Super for Health, Ikd North LCDA), and Hon. Adaramọla Bola (Councillor Ward E1, Odogunyan).
