In line with his commitment to improving the quality of life for residents of Ikosi-Ejinrin, particularly in addressing the critical issue of electricity supply, the Executive Chairman of Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Area, Akogun Wale Raji Anomo, today announced the acquisition of three (3) new 500KVA power transformers.

The transformers will be installed in Ododugba Community in Ward Q1, Mosafejo Community in Ward E2, and Otta-Ikosi Community in Ward F1. These communities had previously appealed to the Council for assistance in replacing their faulty transformers, which had significantly disrupted their economic activities.

During the official handover to Councillors representing Wards E2, Hon. Hassan Mustapha; Ward Q1, Hon. Wahab Qudus and Ward F1 Councillor, Hon. Ganiyu Selim  at the Council Secretariat, Akogun Wale Raji Anomo reiterated his unwavering commitment to alleviating the challenges faced by residents. He assured that no community under his administration would be left in darkness. This recent acquisition adds to the twelve 500KVA transformers and one 200KVA transformer already procured under his administration.

The Council has also provided assistance in energizing some transformers and allocated funds for the repair of others, demonstrating its dedication to ensuring a stable and reliable electricity supply across the LCDA.
