Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Area (LCDA) has resumed the second phase of grading earth roads across various communities within the council area. This initiative, led by the administration of Akogun Wale Raji Anomo, is aimed at improving infrastructure and enhancing the quality of life for residents.

Recall, between December 2023 and February 2024, over 150 street roads across the six wards of the LCDA were graded while opening several new ones. However, the project was temporarily halted due to the rainy season. With the resumption of work, grading has commenced in the Ketu community, with Ododugba Road and several other streets already completed.

In addition to the ongoing grading project, the LCDA has initiated the opening of a new road that will connect Timberville Agbowa/Owu (Okobaba relocation site) with Agbowa community. This new road will provide direct access between Agbowa and the Agbowa/Owu Timberville relocation site, thereby easing transportation and facilitating commerce for residents and businesses in the area.

The Akogun Wale Raji Anomo-led administration has consistently demonstrated its commitment to improving infrastructure in Ikosi-Ejinrin, with this project being a significant testament to these efforts.

Residents have expressed their appreciation for the ongoing developments, citing improved accessibility and reduced travel times as key benefits.

The completion of these projects is expected to have a positive impact on the community, making Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA a more attractive place to live, work, and do business.

Chairman, Akogun Wale Raji Anomo has assured residents that more projects are in the pipeline, with a continued focus on sustainable development and community engagement.
