
Adekoya Moses Oladimeji, current Deputy Chief of Staff to the Executive Chairman of Kosofe Local Government, has formally declared his intention to run for the position of Councillor representing Oworonsoki (Kosofe Local Government Ward A) in the 2025 local government elections.
With a strong background in community and youth development, Oladimeji has demonstrated his dedication to the growth and welfare of Oworonsoki residents through various philanthropic efforts.
His initiatives include the Oworonshoki Free School program, which provides educational support to underprivileged children, and sports development initiatives that have rejuvenated the basketball team in Oworonshoki. Additionally, he has collaborated with various NGOs to bring welfare items to needy members of the community.
Oladimeji’s experience in both the private and public sectors has equipped him with the necessary skills to drive sustainable development in Oworonsoki Ward A. As runner-up in the 2021 APC party primaries, he has further honed his leadership abilities and strengthened his resolve to serve the community.
If elected, Oladimeji pledged to amplify the voices of the youth and create more opportunities for their growth and development. He also promised to leverage his experience to drive sustainable development, ensure transparent and accountable Governance, to work tirelessly in supporting the good work of the Executive Chairman, Barrister Moyosore Ogunlewe in order to build Kosofe of our dream “.
In his declaration statement, Oladimeji humbly asked for the support and votes of the community in the upcoming election, promising to build a brighter future for Oworonsoki.
