
In Promoting Educational Development among the school Children, Barr. Olatoun Adekoya, a dedicated community leader and Chairmanship Aspirant for Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA, has been conferred with a prestigious honourary award by the Local Government Education Authority, Ikorodu.
This esteemed award acknowledged her outstanding contributions to the growth and development of education in Ikorodu, and solidifies her position as a champion of academic excellence and community progress.”
Mr. Afolabi praised Barr. Adekoya’s dedication to the progress of future leaders, saying, “Your contributions and supports towards the growth of education at the grassroots level are immeasurable and worthy of appreciation.”
In her acceptance speech, Barr. Adekoya expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the LGEA and Mr. Afolabi, saying, “I am truly humbled to receive this award. I am passionate about empowering our young people through education, and I am committed to continuing my support for the education sector in Ikorodu Division. Thank you for recognizing my efforts.”
She further appreciated the efforts of the LGEA and other stakeholders in promoting education in the community, saying, “I am proud to be part of a community that values education and is working tirelessly to ensure our children receive the best possible start in life.”
