In a grand finale to a week-long celebration and commissioning of several projects, Barr. Moyosore Ogunlewe, Executive Chairman of Kosofe Local Government, reeled out his administration’s achievements to the public as he marks three years in office.
Barr. Moyosore Ogunlewe, highlighted his administration’s numerous achievements in the past three years, emphasizing their commitment to making a positive impact in various sectors.
Speaking at the event, Ogunlewe listed some of his Led Administration achievements, including:
– Construction of 36 roads
– Provision of eight transformers
– Building of a well-equipped school in Mosafejo Primary School
– Free shuttle services for community members
– Construction of drainages
– Procurement of transformers for eight communities, benefiting over 7,000 residents.

Ogunlewe also mentioned the commissioning of 10 boreholes, roads, drainages, transformers, and 10 classrooms during the week.
Addressing the issue of protests, Ogunlewe urged youths to engage in peaceful and meaningful demonstrations, emphasizing that President Tinubu is a listening president who is committed to making the country thrive.
He acknowledged the country’s challenges but expressed optimism that things would get better, citing the removal of subsidy and financial autonomy for local governments as positive developments.
Ogunlewe thanked the community and for their support, promising to continue working tirelessly to deliver the dividends of democracy to the people.
Ayodele Olawande, Minister of State, for Youth Development, commended Barr. Moyosore Ogunlewe, for his remarkable achievements in office. According to Olawande, Ogunlewe’s accomplishments are evident and widespread, with 36 roads completed and 11 ongoing projects, demonstrating his commitment to grassroots development.
Olawande noted that Ogunlewe’s focus on infrastructure, education, and community development sets him apart from other council chairmen who prioritize personal projects. He praised Ogunlewe for taking the government to the people, making a tangible impact on the local community.
The Minister highlighted that Ogunlewe’s achievements are not just on paper but visible for all to see, including on social media. He emphasized Ogunlewe’s commitment to the people, saying: “Even when you say we have bad youths who are not good, we’re also telling you now that we have a youth who can reach out to the grassroots, a youth who listens to the people.”
Hon. Kayode Robert, Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs in Lagos State, Commended Barr. Moyosore Ogunlewe, for his outstanding performance in office.
Robert commended Ogunlewe for complementing the efforts of the state governor and for his numerous achievements in Kosofe. He expressed confidence in Ogunlewe’s ability to do more, citing his impressive track record, and urged the people of Kosofe to continue supporting him.
He also appealed to those planning to protest to reconsider, stating that the Government is working hard to address the nation’s challenges and what is needed is cooperation, not protest.
Robert highlighted Lagos state Government’s achievements, including prompt payment of salaries and pensions, and urged the people to encourage the Government to do more.
The commissioner thanked the leadership of Kosofe Local Government, traditional rulers, legislators, management, and APC supporters for their support.
The Vice Chairman, Council Leader, Council Manager, CDC Chairman, and APC Chairman in Kosofe all attested to Ogunlewe’s exceptional performance and achievements, praising his dedication to the community.
