
Amosu Kazeem Oluwatomi, Vice President of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) Southwest Zone, has appealed to youths in the region to reject planned protests and instead embrace dialogue as a means of addressing their concerns.
Amosu acknowledged the youths’ grievances but emphasized that dialogue, not confrontation, is the best approach to achieve their goals. He urged youths to engage with stakeholders and officeholders in a constructive manner.
Amosu warned that some individuals are attempting to turn the Southwest into a zone of unrest, and urged youths not to allow this to happen. He emphasized the need for development, not destruction, and called on youths to remain calm and peaceful.
Amosu reiterated his commitment to engaging with officeholders to bring about positive change, and urged government officials to open their doors for dialogue with young leaders. He believes that through constructive engagement, youths can achieve their desired goals and build a better Nigeria.
