
In a bid to enhance connectivity and improve the quality of life for residents, the Executive Chairman of Kosofe Local Government, Barr. Moyosore Ogunlewe, commissioned three additional roads in Anthony Ward D; namely Deji Odunuga Street, Alade Lawal Street, and Mudi Lane
Barr. Ogunlewe reiterated his commitment to delivering more roads in Kosofe Local Government, saying “We are dedicated to improving the infrastructure in our community, and we will continue to work tirelessly to ensure that our residents enjoy the best possible quality of life.”
Barr. Ogunlewe announced that construction work will soon commence on 11 additional roads across Kosofe Local Government, further solidifying the administration’s dedication to developing the community’s infrastructure.
Hon. Oluloro Idowu, Councillor representing Anthony Ward D and Council Leader for Kosofe Local Government, expressed his gratitude to Barr. Moyosore Ogunlewe, for his remarkable achievements in the community.
“Barr. Ogunlewe has done marvelously well in our community,” Hon. Idowu said. “He has constructed five good roads in Anthony Ward D, and with the additional roads from the state, we now have a total of ten roads. Today, we are commissioning three more roads, and we are thrilled to see the impact it will have on our community.”
Hon. Idowu emphasized the collaborative effort between the local government and the Community Development Association (CDA) in maintaining the roads. “We work hand in hand with the CDA to ensure that the roads are properly maintained and utilized,” he explained. “We entrust them with the custody of the roads and encourage them to take ownership and ensure their proper use.”
Mr. Ibrahim Mustapha, a resident, commended the Chairman for his outstanding performance in office. Mr. Mustapha said, “This is not the only road our Chairman has done. Ogunlewe has been doing good work across the length and breadth of Kosofe Local Government.”
The Alade Lawal road, which had been in a deplorable state for over two years before his assumption of office, was also reconstructed by the Chairman. “This road links almost every part of our community, and we are very grateful to him for fixing it within just a few months of taking office,” Mr. Mustapha said.
