In response to growing unrest and planned protests, Chairman Ogunlewe calls for peaceful discourse and emphasizes the importance of intellectual engagement. Acknowledging the nation’s challenges, he stresses that sustainable progress requires calm and open communication.
“We understand the frustrations of our young people, but we must prioritize peaceful means to address these issues,” he says. “Our administration is committed to youth development, with initiatives focused on skill acquisition, entrepreneurship, and employment.”
Regarding the planned protests, Ogunlewe advises caution and encourages alternative methods of expression. “My office is always open for dialogue, and we are dedicated to listening and responding to the needs of our young residents.”
He also urges patience with the Federal Government’s economic policies, noting that change takes time and that the current administration is working hard to implement beneficial reforms.
