The National Association of University Students (NAUS) CMC Lagos, Office of the Director of Gender and Campus Affairs, organized “Pad a Girl” program at Kaztal Academy, Ikorodu, Lagos, on Friday, July 19, 2024.

The program aimed to provide sanitary pads to underprivileged female students and raise awareness about menstrual hygiene and gender equality. Guest speaker Olaniyan Suliat Anike Keji of Lagos educated the girls on maintaining cleanliness during their menstrual cycle, proper use of sanitary pads, and embracing their femininity with confidence.

The event featured interactive sessions on menstrual health, gender equality, and empowerment, followed by a question-and-answer session. Sanitary pads were distributed to female students, who expressed gratitude and appreciation for the informative sessions.

The program received positive feedback from students, teachers, and staff members.

Comrade Adelaja Adeola Christiana, Director of Gender and Campus Affairs, extended her special appreciation to Comr. Akapo Mayowa, Comr. Imeh Godknows, Comr. Akeju Bukola, and others for their presence and support.
