Azeez Abiodun Jimoh (Olosugbo), a young politician and entrepreneur, has declared his intention to run for the office of Executive Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government. In a statement released to the press, Jimoh expressed his resolve to serve the people of Ikorodu and take the council to greater heights.

Jimoh’s decision to run for office was driven by a sense of duty and responsibility to give back to his community. He acknowledged the contributions and influence of the people of Ikorodu and All Progressives Congress (APC), on which platform he seeks to get the political mandate.

The chairmanship aspirant noted that Ikorodu Local Government needs a trusted, experienced, pragmatic, and proactive manager of human and material resources to maximize its potentials and institute a culture of sustainable growth.

He pledged to provide selfless service to the people and the local government, leveraging his knowledge, talent, and experience acquired over the years.

With his experience as the Majority Leader and Council Leader respectively, Jimoh is confident in his ability to deliver practical performances and actualize the party’s manifesto at the council level.

Jimoh highlighted his vision for a greater Ikorodu, emphasizing the need to strengthen security architecture, engage youths, and promote economic growth. He called for collaboration of ideas and sought approval and support for his aspiration to take the council to “THE PATH TO GREATNESS”.

He emphasized that “We are great people with great destiny” and pledged to work towards rediscovering the collective dreams of the community and ensuring their realization. Jimoh promised to live up to his words and back them up with “ACTIONS through PRACTICAL PERFORMANCES”.
