
Patricia Okosodo, founder of Golden Integrated Empowerment Foundation and co-initiator of the Grassroots Initiative Project, is dedicated to empowering young individuals from the grassroots level to become change-makers in their communities. Through her mentorship program, she is developing the skills of young people to solve community problems and become the best version of themselves.
Recently, Patricia Okosodo participated in a training program at AIBO – Academy For International Business Officials in China, where she gained valuable insights into Facilitation Investment and Development (FID). FID is a comprehensive approach to creating an environment that fosters economic growth, development, and investment. Its key aspects include investment promotion, business facilitation, infrastructure development, policy reform, capacity building, access to finance, and risk management.
By applying the principles of FID, Patricia Okosodo aims to create a conducive business environment, attract investments, and drive economic growth and development in her community. Her contribution to society is focused on mentoring grassroots young individuals to develop their skills and solve community problems.
Patricia Okosodo expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Rep. Babajimi Benson, member of the House of Representatives, Ikorodu federal constituency, for the opportunity to participate in the training. She also extended her sincere appreciation to all the African participants who were part of the worldwide training.
