As part of the effort to prevent the spread of Cholera, the Igbogbo Platinum Lions Club embarked on a Cholera Awareness campaign at AUD Primary School, Methodist Primary School, and Lajo Primary School.

Led by Lion Princess Basirat A. Banjoko, President of Igbogbo Platinum Lions Club 2024-2025 LSY, she emphasized the importance of hand hygiene and proper sanitation practices to prevent the spread of Cholera. The students were urged to prioritize hand-washing and maintain good hygiene habits to stay safe.

This initiative complements the efforts of the Lagos State Government and Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA to prevent the spread of Cholera in the community. By working together, they aims to reinforce the importance of proper hygiene and sanitation practices among school children.

As part of the campaign, the Club distributed informative flyers to the students, providing them with valuable knowledge on Cholera and its prevention. This initiative aims to empower the young minds with the necessary information to protect themselves and their communities from the dangers of Cholera.

By taking this proactive step, the Igbogbo Platinum Lions Club demonstrates its commitment to supporting the well-being and health of her immediate community, particularly the school children.
