Hon. Salau Rukayat Ibukun (Ajibike), the Supervisor for Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Ikorodu West LCDA is currently attending a ‘Seminar on Capacity Building in Foreign Trade Reconstruction for BRI Countries’ in China.

The two-week program is part of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) which aims to enhance participants’ skills in international trade and economic cooperation.

The learning experience is designed to equip participants with advanced knowledge needed to navigate the complexities of global trade.

Hon. Ajibike’s participation aims to gain deeper insights into foreign trade, how women in Nigeria can benefit from   it and how to implement effective policies that drive economic growth and foster international partnerships.

The seminar also provides a unique platform for networking and collaboration with professionals from various BRI countries.

These interactions will be instrumental in building strong international relationships and fostering cooperative efforts in trade and economic development.

The Seminar will further boost her morale and enrich her knowledge in the area of sustainable development goals, especially as it relates to the enpowerment of women for the betterment of the society.
