
On Tuesday, July 2, 2024, Lagos Community Youth Development Initiative (LCYDI), a leading Network of Community Youth Volunteers in Lagos State, whose commitment and passion is of participatory communal development under the supervision of Lagos State Ministry of Youth and Social Development, is pleased to announce the appointment of new executive members to its State Executive Committee, following a rigorous electoral process. These appointments reflect LCYDI’s commitment to excellence, diversity, community engagement and impact.
The newly appointed members of the LCYDI State Executive Committee are:

LCYDI’s State Executive Committee plays a crucial role in conceptualizing strategic initiatives, coordinating, controlling, overseeing the statewide operations and managing the affairs of the organization. Each member brings a wealth of experience and expertise in public administration, management, accounting, strategic communication, etc.
“We are super-excited to welcome these experienced, resourceful and passion-driven individuals to paddle the affairs of our noble organization for the next two years”, said by Comrade Emmanuel. “Their diverse backgrounds and proven leadership will undoubtedly strengthen our ability to drive innovation, create new frontiers, enhance community outreach and development”.
During the State Management Meeting on the 29th June, 2024 at Ikeja Local Government Secretariat Multipurpose Hall, the Immediate Past State Chairman, Amb. Akanni Michael Handed Over the baton of leadership to the Amb. Dele Moses led new State Leadership. The meeting was attended by key stakeholders of the organization, representatives from 20 LGAs and 37 LCDAs and representative from our supervising ministry, Lagos State Ministry of Youth and Social Development.
The handing over exercise was anchored by the Electoral Committee chaired by Comrade Olamibo Ikuomola and were supported by Comrade Olaibi Emmanuel, the Supervising Councilor from Ifako Ijaiye Local Government and Comrade Inalegwu Gabriel Anya from the Lagos State Ministry of Youth and Social Development.
Comrade Inalegwu Gabriel, during his goodwill message, congratulated the new EXCOs and emphasized on the importance of resolving conflicts, improving weaknesses, and embracing meritocracy.
“I pledged to serve with dedication and loyalty to the Organization”, said the new State Chairman.
We look forward to the contributions of the new State Executive Committee as they work alongside the Senior Stakeholders’ Committee and the LCYDI Board of Trustees chaired by Hon. Adekunle Olayinka, the current Special Adviser on Works and Infrastructure to Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu.
