
The Chapel of Christ the Light, Interdenominational, Lagos State Government has launched its 2024 Harvest Themed, ‘Harvest of Supernatural Visibility’, on Sunday, June 23rd. This marks the beginning of a season of thanksgiving and celebration, which will culminate in a grand finale on November 17th, coinciding with the church’s 25th anniversary celebrations.
Guest Preacher and Former President Lagos State Public Service Christian Fellowship Pastor Olayinka Kilanko admonished the congregation on the need to be Greatful in all God has done for them, He adds that returning to God in Substance and thanksgiving is a great gain for eternal blessings.
In an interview, High Chief Henry Olofingorite, Chairman, Harvest Planning Committee, express his gratitude to God and the Harvest Lunchers including the Chief of Staff to the Lagos State Governor, Mr Tayo Ayinde and the Head Of Service, Mr Olabode Agoro, saying, “We thank God for all our invited guests, who came and blessed us with their substance.” He also acknowledged the efforts of the Presiding Chaplain, Reverend Dr. Oladele Ajayi and the members of the committee, who played a crucial role in making the Launching a success.
Chief Henry emphasized that the harvest Theme, is rooted in the biblical principle of sowing and reaping, “The essence of harvest is because the evidence is in the holy Bible that there is time for everything. There is time to sow and there is time to reap. We have sown last year, this year now we are reaping.” He encouraged individuals to strive to do something reasonable in every way, as harvest is for everybody.
He States that the chapel will hold Family Harvest, every Sunday, which will build up to the grand finale in November. The Chaplaincy had already kickstart the family harvest, and the congregation is expected to follow suit. As Chairman of the Harvest Planning Committee, Chief Henry is confident that the harvest promises to be a season of blessings, thanksgiving, and supernatural growth for the Chapel of Christ the Light.
