The Opomulero of Ikorodu Kingdom and former Majority Leader of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. SOB Agunbiade, has paid a glowing tribute to the late Senator Bayo Osinowo, fondly called Pepperito, on the fourth anniversary of his passing.

In a statement released today, Hon. Agunbiade remembered Senator Osinowo as a great leader, a martyr, an astute politician, and a dogged mobilizer and actualizer who left an indelible mark on the political landscape and the lives of many people. He noted that despite his passing four years ago, Senator Osinowo’s impact continues to be felt, and his legacy lives on through the numerous infrastructural developments and initiatives he spearheaded.

Hon. Agunbiade described Senator Osinowo as a charismatic figure who effortlessly connected with people from all walks of life, and possessed remarkable qualities that endeared him to many. He praised the late senator’s unwavering commitment to his constituents, his tenacity and determination in pursuing developmental projects, and his passion for advocating for positive change.

The former Majority Leader also revealed that Senator Osinowo was a mentor to him and many others, and played a significant role in shaping his political career. He expressed gratitude for the late senator’s guidance and support, and acknowledged his unwavering belief in the potential of the youth and his commitment to nurturing the next generation of leaders.

As Hon. Agunbiade remembered Senator Osinowo, he urged others to strive to carry forward his vision for a better Nigeria, and to honor his memory by continuing to work towards the betterment of society.
