The Executive Chairman of Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Area, Akogun Wale Raji Anomo, inspected the ongoing rehabilitation of the failed road portion being carried out by the Council at the curb of the entrance of Ajebo Community towards Orugbo-Iddo earlier this morning.

Akogun Anomo urged the contractors to expedite the work, emphasizing the importance of completing the rehabilitation before the Eid al-Kabir festival.

During his visit, the Executive Chairman also inspected the ongoing reconstruction of the road along the Ikorodu-Itoikin expressway, particularly the Ajebo/Ago-Hausa area, which is now at the asphalt laying phase.

He commended the contractors, GELD Construction Company, for their commendable work and encouraged them to finish the asphalt laying before the festival to ensure that commuters and residents can enjoy a smooth ride along the road. He also expressed his gratitude to Senator Tokunbo Abiru and MHR Wale Raji for facilitating the reconstruction.
