The Chairman, Ikorodu North LCDA, Builder Deola Banjo earlier today hosted the Commissioners, Permanent Secretary, Directors and other officials of the Local Government Service Commission on an oversight function to Ikorodu North LCDA.

The delegation arrived the premises of the Tower of resources at about 12:40pm and were received by the Council Manager, HODs and HOU’s of the LCDA.

The Chairman of the Local Government Service Commission, Honourable Kamal Bayewu in his address said “I am indeed very happy to see that Ikorodu North now has an ultra-modern hall where we can sit comfortably to address ourselves. It is a testament to the fact that the Chairman is working and I would take this as one of the welfarism gesture from the Chairman to the Ikorodu North workforce”.

The Chairman represented by the Secretary to the Local Government, Honourable Niyi Odugbesi thanked the delegation for visiting Ikorodu North LCDA noting that the Chairman would have loved to receive them personally as he used to but for other exigencies that require his urgent attention.

The forum allowed for cross fertilization of ideas between the both arms of Government.

Representatives of the Permanent Secretaries, Ministry of Local Government Service Commission and Ministry of Establishment and training passed necessary information to the seated staff members after which questions were asked and answers provided by the Chairman of the Commission and other officials of the Service Commission.

The Council Manager, Mrs Oluranti Adeyemi gave the Vote of thanks and closing prayer was offered by Mr Ahmed Lawal of Ikorodu North LCDA.
