Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada, the Mayoress, officially flagged off the construction of Adetuberu Street. This major road and link inward Olowoira communities are part of the 114 Roads project which aimed at improving transportation infrastructure in the area.

Mayoress also engaged with the Isheri-Olowoira community to discuss the modalities of the road project, ensuring that the needs and concerns of the community are taken into account.

Princess Samiat Bada expressed her joy and determination as the construction of Adetuberu Street begins. This vital project aims to address the long-standing challenges faced by residents of Olowora and Ward A as a whole.

Princess Samiat addressed the long-standing issue of Adetuberu Street, which has suffered from neglect for years. The road’s potholes and uneven surfaces have been a major challenge for both motorists and pedestrians in the Olowora area. It’s a crucial link that connects different communities, including important amenities like Olowora Primary School and Primary Health Care Centre.

Recognizing the economic significance of Adetuberu Street, Princess Samiat Bada stated her led administration have made its construction a top priority. The aim is to breathe new life into the community’s infrastructure and address the pressing need for improvement. This project holds immense potential for Olowora residents, as it will not only enhance the road’s condition but also stimulate economic activity and improve transportation networks.

Princess Samiat Bada expressed her gratitude to the Lagos State Government, led by Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, for their support and collaboration. She also extended her appreciation to the executive, legislative, and administrative teams of Ikosi-Isheri LCDA, as well as all the residents of Isheri Olowora, for their cooperation in making this project a reality.

Chief Sulaimon Kareem, Baale Olowoira stated “Today marks a joyous day for the people of Olowoira community as a long-awaited road project has finally come to fruition. Our persistent efforts and agitation have paid off, and the chairman has officially flagged off the road construction project.”

Addressing concerns about potential disturbances during the construction process, Chief Sulaimon Kareem assured the local government that this project is wholeheartedly welcomed by the community. The love and support for the project are evident, and the community is committed to protecting and supporting it until its completion.

    This is indeed a great contribution to the society. And I’m sure the residents are very happy about this development. But I’ll love to draw her Excellency atttention to an important discovery which is the transformer being removed at Adetuberu street. Pls does that mean there won’t be Electricity till the completion of the road. Pls I would really love to get a reply on this. Thanks
