Epe Division Professional Women Association (EPWA), led by the President Mrs. Opeoluwa Balogun and Project Committee Chairman Yeye Olajumoke Rasak, The association distributed sewing machines and grinding machines to support women in Epe Division, which is an annual empowerment.

Mrs. Opeoluwa Balogun, the EPWA president, encouraged the beneficiaries to make the most out of the sewing machines and grinding machines provided. She emphasized that these tools could be utilized to create sustainable livelihoods.

The EPWA project committee, consisting of notable members such as Mrs. Gbemi Williams-Ayodele, Dr. Yayah Lateefat, Mrs. Olufunke Adelewa, Mrs. Omotola Olashina-Sadiq, Mrs. Onikoyi Mojisola, Mrs. Olufowobi-Yusuff Adeola, Hon. (Engr.) Kenny Kadri-Edu, and Mrs. Ogunnorin Efunyemi, worked tirelessly to ensure the success of the program.

During the event, Hon. Abiodun Tobun, Member of the Lagos State House of Assembly representing Epe Constituency 1, served as the Chairman of the occasion. The occasion also had the presence of esteemed guests of honor, including Hon. Lanre Ogundipe and Alhaja Anifowose Dengel.

The EPWA’s initiative to empower women in the Epe Division has been met with praise and appreciation from the beneficiaries. The association’s commitment to uplifting the community and supporting women’s economic independence is commendable.
