In a joint effort, Mosco Youth Vanguard, Itire-Ikate LCDA under the leadership of Hon. Dr. Ahmed Olanrewaju Apatira, Executive Chairman of Itire Ikate LCDA, and Randle General Hospital, Surulere, came together to provide essential medical services to the community. They raised awareness and promoted health and well-being among the residents.

The medical services offered during the outreach included health talks, blood pressure checks, sugar level checks, malaria tests, free medical consultations, body mass index measurements, and free medication.

Hon. Mrs. Mosunmola Sangodara, Member Representing Lagos House of Assembly, Surulere Constituency 2, played a significant role as the principal of Mosco Youth Vanguard.

The initiative was spearheaded by Catherine Yewande Ojesanmi, FLMI., the General Secretary and Head of the Projects Committee of Mosco Youth Vanguard. Catherine, a Political Scientist by education and a fellow of the Legislative Mentorship Initiative, worked tirelessly to ensure the smooth execution of the event.

Mosco Youth Vanguard is a group of young individuals dedicated to bringing about transformational change in their community. They actively engage in projects related to community and local development, environmental health, gender inclusion, and capacity building. The members of Mosco Youth Vanguard draw their inspiration from the belief that they can be agents of change and contribute to the betterment of society.

The medical outreach organized by Mosco Youth Vanguard, Itire Ikate LCDA, and Randle General Hospital serves as a perfect example of the positive impact that young people can have on their communities. By providing essential healthcare services and promoting health education, they are working towards a healthier and more vibrant society.
