Ikosi-Isheri LCDA the led Administration of Princess Samiat Bada the Mayoress of Ikosi-Isheri LCDA distributed the food palliatives intervention by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, which included tubers of yam, crates of eggs, and bread.

Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada, the Mayoress of Ikosi Isheri LCDA, expressed her admiration for Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and his unwavering commitment to the well-being of the people of Lagos state.

During her address, Mayoress emphasized the significance of the palliative measures introduced by Governor Sanwoolu, stating, “We are here because of Mr. Capable, the Governor of Lagos state. The palliative we are sharing today in Isheri belongs to Gov. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu.”

She further highlighted the Governor’s dedication to serving the entire population of Lagos state, acknowledging the hardships faced by both the people of the state and the nation as a whole. She commended the collaborative efforts between the Local Government and the State Government, stating, “While the people of the local government are doing their part, the governor is also not relenting in sharing his support. The Sunday market initiative, which offers subsidized goods, is a testament to his commitment to reaching everyone.”

Governor Sanwo-Olu’s generosity extended beyond the provision of essential goods. Mayoress Bada revealed that he had also distributed a significant sum of money to the Community Development Committee (CDC) and Community Development Association (CDA) in the state. She explained that the decision not to publicize the amount was to avoid unnecessary speculation about its source, as Governor Sanwoolu’s focus remains on serving the people.

Comparing the situation in Lagos state to that of other states, Mayoress Bada expressed her gratitude for Governor Sanwoolu’s leadership, stating, “Other states are not enjoying this, but to us in Lagos state, we are enjoying our Governor. He is the one and only Governor that is not greedy. He has given us a free hand to work and to do what we can with the funds coming from the federal government directly. He is the only Governor proud enough to do this.”

As the Mayoress of Ikosi Isheri LCDA, Princess Samiat Bada expressed her pride in working under Governor Sanwo-Olu.

She emphasized the importance of checks and balances provided by the Lagos House of Assembly, stating, “I must tell you that there is check and balancing from the House of Assembly, and I must not forget the Speaker of Lagos state RT. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa. He has been our guiding force, ensuring that we fulfill our responsibilities according to his directives.”

Residents of Ikosi-Isheri LCDA are full of gratitude as they applaud Governor Sanwo-Olu for his kind gesture of providing food palliatives. They also expressed their appreciation to Princess Samiat Bada for her regular support in the LCDA.
